Omg, this place was amazing . We ordered 2 plates the mojacete and saltado, something like that and wow had to right a review. Not only amazing but alot of food . Had to ask for 2 boxes to go. I give them 5 stars.
We had the "all you can eat" meal, which worked out well for our keto lifestyle. We were able to enjoy so many different types of meats! The dishes came to the table in small portions. I mean the right size for a taste, and then the next one was arriving. We were able to try many different types of beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and lamb. The staff was friendly and the outdoor seating was clean.
As one who used to work right down the street from Porto's and would go 2-3 times a week, I feel I have a very high standard for what I consider good Cuban food.  I am very impressed with the food at Cuban Express. We had the Cuban sandwich, fried plantains, potato ball, and garlic fries. Everything was delicious. Even though I found myself comparing the food to what I already knew, I really enjoyed some of the difference. We were in the mood for something kind of light, so we didn't get to try EVERYTHING, but I will be back because I wanna get my hands on some of those empanadas- maybe even a guava one. Probably the only thing I would change is that it does not appear that the restaurant has any exterior signage- not even writing on the glass of the door. I had to peer in the window just to make sure I was at the right place and not just a side entrance to the restaurant next door. Wait staff were really friendly and the interior was clean and well decorated. I promise I'll be back!
