I only know it as a Restaurant and the offer is an Excellent Cocido Maragato, as well as abundant. You certainly won't leave hungry. The treatment is exquisite. The town is beautiful. Typical Maragato town. I recommend that you look at the different doors of the houses on the main street... a whole museum Hotel highlights: Quiet

We were walking the Camino last fall and came into Castrillo on a Saturday night. We thought we had reservations at another hosteria, but it had closed. There were no hotel rooms available, but the staff at Cuca la Vaina took pity on us and helped us find lodging in a municipal albergue. We returned for dinner, which was excellent. We will always remember this hotel and restaurant as being staffed by the kindest people we met in all of Spain.
