I spent a week in Surry Hills and have tried several coffee joints for my morning coffee (I normally take a large latte). In the Doghouse is by far one of the best in the area (within 10 mins walk radius). Temperature is just right, not too acidic and very balanced. If you go there for brekkie, make sure you try their bacon & egg roll too. They welcome dogs and staff are very helpful and friendly.
