Besides Kostel Jana Amose Komenskeho - Cerveny Kostel, visit Cvrček na Skle in the vicinity. Most guests recommend trying tasty filet américain, soup and chicken breasts. The professional service is a great plus of this restaurant. You will certainly like the calm atmosphere. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, Cvrček na Skle deserved 4.7.

Nice people. While French onion soup was excellent, the following chicken breasts were average at best. But we have got a piece of as a part of lunch menu!

Pleasantly surprised by this cute restaurant in the city center. I got to know about the place just because I went the other day to another restaurant close by. This restaurant is hidden a little bit in the house and there is only one sigh that points to the place from outside.The interior with its garden chairs and tables creates an atmosphere of summer. As I noticed at Facebook posts, the restaurants offers every day some soup and 2 meals as lunch menu - one vegetarian/vegan, one not.I had celery soup and then salad with watermelon and chicken breasts. They were both excellent! The portions are very big and I was full even without bread served with the salad. Great plus for summer: as soon as I sat down, the waitress brought me jar with water and some lemon and cucumber, and an empty glass. As I got it, it was for free. What a nice customer service.One small disadvantage of the place is the temperature inside. Because the ceiling is made of plastic plates through which sun shines inside, the conditions are similar to those in greenhouse - it's very hot and air stays. The waitress solved this by opening the door where it was much cooler so in the end the temperature inside was bearable. Maybe it would be good to consider to have air-conditioning.I believe that this place deserves better marketing so don't hesitate to try it and if you like it, spread a good word afterwards. I think it's worth of it.It's not possible to pay with a card yet so prepare cash.
