My husband and I have been here several times, it’s delicious and has a variety of inventive, healthy dishes with really fresh ingredients. The portobello mushroom burger is one of the best I’ve ever had! But - if you’re vegetarian and don’t want to inadvertently consume meat, beware the soup. In fact, clarify things that are “veggie” are. The veggie trio comes with a soup that is made of chicken stock. We specifically asked two servers who didn’t think that was an issue, as 2/3 of the items were vegetarian, and told us we were wrong, and that clients should always ask. When I see “veggie”, usually it means no meat. I’m a strict vegetarian, so eating chicken would make me very sick, and counter my vegetarianism. If they would have been understanding and not condescending, this would be a 5 star. ***UPDATED: @the owner - we did ask, two staff members, if it was vegetarian, and both said yes. We know Cynthia Fresh isn't a vegetarian restaurant, and simply asked if something that looked vegetarian, was, and only with insistence, did we learn it wasn't.
