This made a great evening stop on our weekend trip to Acadia National Park. The owner was super kind and friendly, and we had a ton of fun bowling and playing pool. The small touches in this establishment were what really impressed us such as the handwritten signs, the history of the building, and the bathroom amenities. It was very clear that a lot of effort was put into making it a welcoming and fun experience. Would definitely recommend!!

I could not recommend Ellsworth’s Candlepin Bowling Alley enough! First, if you haven’t read about the business, Autumn is a boss beast running the show solo! She is offering the community and visitors a unique opportunity by bringing back candlestick bowling. The atmosphere is so fun, with lots to look at. They had a great selection of food and drinks, and made the ordering process easy by adding to your lane bill and even offer delivering to your lane. Autumn took time in her busy work schedule to chat with me, and her partner explained the game to our family, as it was our first time. I’d recommend visiting (make sure you make reservations!) and I hope to be back again!
