Excellent indeed. Nothing to do with the ordinary so - called japanese restaurant run by Chinese. I went to check the chef, a real Japanese. Here you get the quality and the portions are quite generous. A big difference with other japanese restaurants. Highly recommended.

We have been to Die Gute Botschaft on a quiet Wednesday night. The staff was very friendly and kindly accommodated our request for a better table.We especially appreciated the Vorspeisen and would happily come back for another go at the eel rolls. Main courses were down a notch and the dessert Karte did not look attractive enough for us to try it. Good wine list.Kudos for the music selection which on that night includes Echo & the Bunnymen, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Tom Club - that vibe. Interiors were also lovely with the shiny red and white tiles in the restroom being the highlight.Would recommend!
