As of the writing of this review, you have a week and two days to get yer butt here for some food, and they're closed a couple days a week -- so go now! Seriously, I'm more than a little heartbroken to hear Dacha will be leaving us 3/27. They are absolutely amazing, and they are kind, and they know how to serve the community. Their rye is the bread you dream about. Full of flavor, a great vehicle for shoving the rest of their delights into your mouth, but so much more than that, too. I could eat it all day. I love accoutrements, and they do too. There's great little sauces and sides that accompany many of the sweet and savory plates. Speaking of plates, I miss their adorable dining wares inside. Been a long time since inside dining happened here, next to the views of passersby's feets behind lace curtains. Sob... But back to the food you should try: get the lox, get the herring under fur coat. Push your comfort zone, if you have one around food! This place will not disappoint. Dacha, thank you for feeding us so diligently!

Delicious comfort food made with love! After a long, distressing week, Dacha Diner was the perfect place to pick up some heart-warming, satisfying food. From the friendly greeting at their door, the mouth watering aromas filling my car as I drove home with my order, to the wonderful dinner of katchapuri with eggplant***** , fantastic Lobio (a Georgian bean stew) and heavenly pickles - our troubles were temporarily melted away. You owe it to yourselves to relax, restore, revive with the Dacha Diner!!

Sooo good! Tried the eggplant khachapuri. It's dough, cheese and vegetables, but tastes nothing like a pizza. The dough is crispy on the outside but soft, fluffy and very light. The crust is stuffed with cheese. The cheese itself is eastern European farmers cheese, reminiscent of baked ricotta and cottage cheese combined. The minty and tomato on top really cuts through the cheese. Additionally we also tried the frozen pancakes with cheese. Also very good, but we needed their jalapeno condiment to cut through the heaviness. Also they can improve their cooking instructions for the pancakes to be more accurate, as well as the packaging, they are hard to separate. Overall great quality for the price! The quality has remained consistent since they opened!
