By the time you have a proper bowl of ramen, with an egg and chasu, you're pushing $25 for the bowl. Whole soup is a-la-carte with the standard bowl at ~$14 and is made with regular chicken broth, not tonkotsu. The food tastes cheap and ground pork should've never entered the building, let alone the soup. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We had not been to DC for 5 years, but we made a point to return to Daikaya. We were not disappointed! The menu was just as surprising as before, and everything we ordered was top-quality. It was a busy Saturday night after a Capitals game, but our outstanding server Laura made us feel completely at home, made some great suggestions, and really made us feel like regulars despite how long it had been since our last visit. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
