My friend who I met while studying abroad in Barcelona came to visit and we decided to go to this place after looking for somewhere to get authentic tapas. I should note is that you need to make a reservation unless you are okay with sitting at the bar--and even that may get full later in the night. We didn't know this but luckily it was early and the bar was open. That being said, I was so impressed not only to find a Spanish restaurant so close to me, but also one that had amazing food and a stunning interior. As you can see from my photos, the inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated to make it feel like you are actually in Spain. It is hard to describe what it was really like, so I recommend going and taking a look for yourself. As far as the food, my friend and I ordered four different tapas, including patatas bravas, mussels, figs wrapped in bacon and chorizo. Patatas bravas are a must-have when ordering tapas, but the mussels were probably my favorite. The service was good and everyone was professional and seemed passionate about their job. Overall, I recommend going here and would definitely go back myself. It is one of those really unique finds that a lot of people probably don't know about but would love it if they tried it!
Overall I'd give this place 4.5 stars if I could! The style of this place is dark, funky, but elegant- and the food was pretty good too! Ambiance: beautiful, they had a ton of quirky wall decorations and the space felt cozy and warm (lighting was dark and romantic) Drinks: we got a liter each of white and red sangria. It was yummy, but not extraordinary Food: we got the scallops (a cream sauce that was almost perfect but had a slightly strange aftertaste), calamari with squid ink risotto (perfectly crispy, like maybe the best calamari batter I've ever had!), bacon wrapped dates (always a good choice, but I didn't like the nut inside- it felt like there was a seed in there), the Filloa de Berenjenas (crepe with savory filling that was kind of soggy), pa amb tomaquet (basically tomato on toast- nothing spectacular), and croquetas de Jamon (pretty good! Nice and fried)
If you walked into your mom's house and she served you a meal you've had before but continue to love if for the simple tradition and symbolism this would be my mother's comfort food! We ordered a medley of food and it was all good. Patatas Bravas: fried tomatoes with red sauce and aoli  Espinaca Catalana: Spinach with pine nuts Solomillo en Tostada: Beef tenderloin with chimichurri sauce My friends ordered more but those were my favorites. All amazing! The mango mambo drink was the hit of night with drinks. I've been many times but have not been in a while and was so happy to revisit this restaurant.
