What an amazing experience we had at David's restaurant! For starters I had sweet potato leek and garlic soup and lisa had smooth duck liver parfait. For mains I had roast stuffed chicken breast/grilled lakeland fillet steak. The food was beautiful 10/10 the staff were very polite and the atmosphere was perfect. David's is a little gem and I will definitely be going back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had wanted to visit this restaurant for quite a while. I was very disappointed. I ordered a lamb dish. The lamb was tough. I was given a replacement but unfortunately the lamb was still tough. I was offered another choice from menu but at this point I would have been eating on my own whilst the rest of our party waited patiently for their desserts. My dessert a chocolate fondant was one of the best I've had. To add insult to injury despite not having a main I was charged for 2 course menu starter and dessert £21. My husband had an excellent fillet steak and dessert and paid £25 plus £4.95 premium for steak. I know who got the better deal. I doubt I will return. First time I've ever not been able to eat a meal.
