Superb! The attention to detail never ceases to amaze.
We dined here and enjoyed the experience. The service and attention to detail cannot be faulted. The food was excellent. I had the French Onion Soup that was delicious; the depth of favour was extraordinary. If I close my eyes and imagine it now I can still taste it. My next course was Spicy Fish Salad with Green Apple. This was an interesting dish, I didn't know what to expect but was surprised. The fish was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh with a zingy dressing. Yum!! My main course was Grilled Duck Breast with mashed potato, seasonal vegetables and orange sauce. I savoured each mouthful of this dish. Tender, well-seasoned, tasty duck, and the sauce was incredible. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and so fresh it was like they had just been picked from the garden. The mash was smooth and full of flavour. Sharron is a small eater so she had the Spicy Pomelo Salad with Fried Dory Fish, crispy shallots and toasted coconut. This dish was huge and beautifully presented. The taste of this dish matched the way it looked. There were so many sensations eating this dish, the juiciness of the pomelo bursting in your mouth with each bite, zingy spiciness of the dressing. The whole dish worked perfectly. There was also a basket of six freshly baked bread rolls and butter on the table. There were three different bread types and each were memorable. David's Kitchen deserves the reputation it has. We'll be back.
I came to David’s Kitchen tonight to celebrate my 25th with my other half and both of us I had the most beautiful food we’ve ever had. The service was also fantastic and neither of us could fault a single thing. If your looking for a beautiful, romantic setting with some beautiful food I would highly recommend!
