An amazing night out with the family, with our server topping it off with magnificent service from KEVIN, and his familes tradition of the $2.00 gift giving, which made me run to the bank and get me a batch, thanks again to KEVIN, we will be back for the lamb chops or maybe the steak next time lol.... A recent visit to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse revealed a noticeable decline in the dining experience compared to previous visits. As a longtime patron, it was disheartening to find that the once exceptional quality of the establishment had diminished. The steak, typically a highlight of the menu, was served undercooked and excessively bleeding, leading to a disappointing dining experience for both myself and another guest. Additionally, the truffle fries, a favored side dish, arrived at the table cold, and the salmon lacked the moisture and flavor expected from such a renowned establishment. What was particularly concerning was the lack of seasoning across all dishes, leaving them bland and unmemorable. Even the drinks failed to meet expectations, with some being described as outright unpleasant. Furthermore, the interaction with the reservation personnel, following a call to inquire about our experience, left much to be desired. Instead of addressing the specific concerns raised, a generic apology was offered, signaling a lack of attentiveness to customer feedback. In conclusion, it's regrettable to acknowledge that Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse no longer lives up to its former reputation for excellence. While hoping for a return to the exceptional standards once experienced, significant improvements in food quality and customer service responsiveness are necessary to restore confidence in the establishment.
