The manager, who is a senior individual, was very rude to me. I had been working for 1 hour and a half, when he came towards me with a “60 minutes limit during busy hours” sign and asked me to leave. I also need to mention that another table in front of me was empty. It was extremely disrespectful, and I’m never going back. My mother introduced this cafe to me; to try out for working while visiting them in Vancouver. She used to come here regularly with her friends, and they are never going back as well.

I want to love Delany's Coffee house. I do. I love that they're the "community" coffee house, and the alternative to Starbucks. In Dundarave, the Delany's environment is warm and inviting. The issue with Delany's is that their espresso drinks are poor. The shots frequently taste burnt. Their lattes are too weak. Their cappucinos too frothy and too weak. The beauty of an espresso drink is that nutty, fruity richness of an intense shot of quality coffee. Each time I go back to Delany's, I hope that the espresso program will have improved, but alas, their beverages are bland and substandard. I do not drink drip coffee, so perhaps that area of their offering is better. Go to Delany's to support a local business - but avoid their espresso drinks. (Temper, across the street, will deliver a much higher quality experience for espresso.)
