Went here for the first time today. I got an entree salad for myself, and my kids and husband shared the pizza. When I ordered for my kids, all I wanted was a plain cheese pizza, and was quite angry when receiving the bill that they charged 5.50 for extra cheese. Most of that "extra" cheese ended up stuck to the cardboard the pizza was brought out on. The regular fountain drinks were nowhere on the menu, so another shock seeing that each drink is charged 3.25. had we known that we would've just ordered water. The Caesar salad was good. The employees were all nice, including I'm assuming was the manager helping seat customers. However there isn't much conversation or connection there, just transactional. There were no signs for bathrooms that we could see, so held it until we left. Overall we ended up spending 70$ (not including tip) on 2 of the smallest pizzas, salad, and drinks. The prices are extortionate, and the extra charges were insanely high and something we weren't expecting, which took away from the tip we were able to leave unfortunately. We will probably not return due to the high prices, as we all felt the pizza was a little subpar. It was really cool that you could watch them make the pizzas, but that experience alone didn't justify the high price bill. I love Dewey's pizza! I usually visit the Clayton pizza parlor, but I live in illinois now, so I went to the one in O'Fallon Illinois. The waitress was very helpful and courteous. She helped us with the salad and pizza order and drinks. When our food arrived, the pizza came out first. It was very fresh and light with strawberry's, and pecans. The pizza came out next, and it was also fresh and delicious. We also ordered dessert of carrot cake and cheesecake that we took home. Another satisfying outing at Dewey's pizza.
