It seems that management doesn't look at reviews, which is a bummer.We went there on the 19th of March, and our experience was not Michelin-star worthy at all, and very disappointing.- There was a stain on my menu.- There was a hair in my food, which would have been forgiven if there hadn't been many other hiccups that evening. We did tell our waiter who took care of it and offered us the beers we had ordered, which was nice. But later on, my partner also found a hair in his food, and decided against telling them, given how strange the evening had been.- Cutlery was given to us in a pot and we had to take it ourselves. Never seen this in an upscale restaurant. Again, we are far from fussy, but there were too many blemishes like that that shouldn't happen in a Michelin star restaurant.- We hadn't finished eating one of our courses when another one arrived and was just put on our table.- There was only another couple in the restaurant when we were there; our waiter offered them a shot and took a shot with them, when he was not done serving us!!!! My partner and I just looked at each other in disbelief. After taking the shot, he proceeded to keep on bringing our food.It's just plain unprofessional - and dang, why didn't we get a shot either? Same thing, we were asked if we wanted champagne at the beginning of the evening, because a bottle had been opened. Clearly it was going to go to waste, so why not just offer it to the guests? (Start of Corona - people were cancelling flights, reservations etc, hence why the restaurant was so empty).- I had said in my reservation that this was for an anniversary and this wasn't acknowledged until we got the bill, when our waiter said "oh by the way, congratulations on your anniversary!" A candle would have been nice... or just a greeting at the beginning. The fact that it was said only at the end and right after I had told my partner "well they didn't even say anything about our anniversary" made it feel like the fact that we specifically chose this restaurant for our special occasion wasn't appreciated.- All of those points could have been forgiven, maybe, if the food had been exceptional but it wasn't. Again, nor the food nor the service was up to par with Michelin standards. A few courses were tasteless (the skyr dessert, the carrot cake) and others were way too salty (the salmon tartare and the pork belly). We love going out to eat, and this was one of my worst experiences. All the Michelin-star restaurants we went to were way above Dill's level. I love Noma and knowing the chef was friends with the chefs made me even more impatient to go there, but what a disappointment! I don't often say that, but I regret spending so much money on dinner there.Once again, this was not only subpar to Michelin's standards, but subpar in general.We ate better at Tapas Barinn! :)
