Very disappointed. I heard they serve the best carbonara in town and was happy to finally try it. The meat wasn't eatable - in fact closer to hard fat than meat. The pasta was heavy and the whole thing was boring. I left half of my plate untouched but the server didn't bother asking or trying to address it. Not to mention how overpriced it is for what you get. The stars go to the atmosphere which is nice and cosy.
Ottimi ingredienti genuini
Maybe the only place in Brussels that truly deserves 5 stars. It's a large room with tables set spaciously around a large centre bar and with a stunning garden in the back. The menu is not too long but offers always excellent choices from Italy's best region. Upon arrival you'll get to hear the specials. Prices are upscale but translate in quality, creativity and generosity of the menu and service which never lets you out of sight without distracting you from your company and food. Being at dolce amaro makes you wonder why it is so hard for most other restaurants to put their guests first.
