Popped in for lunch with my partner. Friendly welcome as we entered, with offer of menus and question on what drinks we would like, which were then brought over to our table for us. Quiet Thursday lunchtime so no problem finding a quiet table. Had both full and lunchtime menus, we chose the lighter option of lunchtime, steak wrap and Sausage Hogie, both with side of fries. Glad we chose the fries, though we were both very hungry. For a lighter lunch you could do the fries. They serve Flower Pots Porridge which was a great accompaniment. Will visit again, interested in an evening meal but also tempted by the Rising Sun which is apparently also owned by them. Recommended for lunch. The Dolphin Inn was a fantastic place for a family birthday lunch. The service by Katie was above and beyond and made our outing special, including the adaptions for food intolerances. We never felt rushed, and the food was really yummy. The play area looked really good, but unfortunately raining on our visit. We will definitely be visiting again. Service: 5 Location: 5
