Really enjoyed a leisurely lunch here. Fantastic atmosphere, felt authentic, think we were the only tourists there. Lovely staff, very welcoming. We had king prawns, chicken, Algarvian potatoes and pork from the barbecue. Deserts were home made and delicious. Orange cake and home made chocolate mousse which was exceptional. We didn’t have any of the fish but it looked good. Definitely recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited this restaurant on our last night of our trip to Portimão after being told that the best fish restaurants are in that area. And wow, they were not wrong! Absolutely delicious food, I had the sole and my daughter had a monkfish kebab. Absolutely outstandingly good food, prepared perfectly and with a level of service that was simply superb. Highly recommend going here and when we're back in Portimão we will definitely be going back! Dona Barca was a good restaurant for small fish, sardines and horse mackerel.... But, if we go for other types of fish, it remains reasonable, but the final price is scandalous..... I think I will avoid any more visits to Dona Barca. :(
