This restaurant is well known for offering Chinese cuisine. It's a pleasant experience to order perfectly cooked pork chops, seafood and fish. Delicious beer is the best drinks of Double East Cuisine. This place is known for great tea.

If you look through the guests' reviews, the staff is nice at this place. Fast service is something guests agree upon here. Prices are attractive for the quality you get. But most Zomato users didn't give this spot a high rating.

August,  4, 2019 8 of us went there for dinner @ 7:30pm. It is small place with 60 % full. The owner and waitress always joke around with us, but not much services. We waved them for 5 minutes each time, we ask for tea/ napkins/ pop/ knife for cake. They never check customer's tea pot is empty or not? No wet towel for customer,  after they finished pigeons, no such of changing dishes, even they are not busy. But their portions are big with around $20 per dish, its hard to find in Richmond now. We had tried... 3 pigeons.. it's so juicy/ crispy/ hot/ salty, when they just come, but it's become hard and chewy, after 10 minutes. Deep fried squid... it's crispy and hot.. we like it.. we ordered 2nd order after we finished everything. Deep fried tofu,  its the best dish.. they cut into sma cube size/ crispy outside/ soft inside Mixed seafood winter melon soup $68..  we need to preorder a day ahead.. it's got a lot of shrimp and scallops inside, but I can tell they put alot of msg inside, i had one bowl only, cuz of it's too salty for me. rest of my guy friends had 2 bowls each. Deep fried chicken... over cooked and salty Chinese sausage on Taiwanese cauliflower... extremely oily Pork liver and chicken gizzards pot... oily and too chewy Ton hong with shrimp paste  ... it's not crunchy.. its soft and salty Prawns and scallops on asparagus/ snow peas.. its oily , but a lot of scallops and prawns with big portion $26.. cheap... Fatty pork on sour veggies... pork was not soft enough,  only 5 thin slices chewy fatty pork on lettuce,  not worth $20. 5 cans of coke and we brought our own red wine. They charged $370 + 15% tips for 8 people's dinner.
