Creative and tasty dishes, reasonably priced. Service is good too
The restaurant has an interesting concept and has a nice vibe to it. The interior is really bright and colorful and the music they played matched well with my tastes. I came here for lunch and had the lunch set. The price for each set is between 79-120 hkd which includes a main, small app and dessert. You can add a beverage for an additional 18 hkd. Food: 3.75 starsEnvironment/Service: 4.25 starsValue: 4 starsOverall: 3.75 starsRecommendations: Pineapple bunWe ordered the pork belly rice, chicken neck rice and squid pasta. All the dishes were good but the portion size is on the small side. The pork belly was probably my favorite of the three. I added a cappuccino to my order. It was prepared properly had a nice foam and had the appropriate espresso strength. Definitely better than expected for a place like this. This place is known for dessert so we added on the pineapple cream bun. The bun is similar to a cream puff you would get at papa beard. The presentation was great and the pineapple cream was a nice twist. Definitely would recommend trying this. Overall I had a good experience and would come back for coffee and dessert. The food is pretty good but wouldn’t be the driver for me to come back here.
It's an interesting restaurant for desert. Things you can't be imagined, it's interesting to see how the restaurant transform and redesign for a typical chinese dishes or dessert in a western or new style. What I have tried is a pepper ice-cream and it is combine with a bacon. Haven't thought of such combination and it ends up with surprise. Just tasting the ice-cream, you didn't have a very strong taste of the pepper, however, with the aid of the bacon, the taste comes up suddenly and filled your mouth. It is suggested by the staff to put different ingredient all in a spoon and try the mixture of it.There is still many different dishes which I can't try it all at the same time. Probably I will return and try different dishes as well. Also, it is quite special to have the staff explaining about what is inside the dishes and how it make. Though it do takes some time to wait for food to come, as it needs to make right after you ordered. Anyway, it's quite nice to have a chat with friends there and take some pictures with the nicely present dishes. Also the environment is comfortable, but the light is a bit dim for taking photo, better put it under spot light.Give a try.
