I love the French pastry here and love the coffe. They also have really good brunch and breakfast. And day soup is really good as well. Just give yourselves little extra time to have your order taken it takes way longer than normal.

Eclair au Cafè...a french place in Hamburg. Locals recommend it for breakfast or a coffee at a weekend. If you go there for breakfast go there early because the kitchen is slow and the staff let's you wait like you are at Vatican or Kremlin. So don't go there if you a in a hurry or your time in valuable. Besides that food is good. Nothing to special. It's a nice place to observe the neighborhood and think about the risks in a Risikogesellschaft...
