A wonderful trip to Nashville ( music, food and family) took us to Edley’s for a meal. As we attacked the mound of food I realized how much I loved the sauce and went to the desk to see if I could bring some home. I could bit is made with a complex mix of spices that I love. Back in Louisville, I learned that Lexington has an Edley’s. Time for a road trip! Staff was friendly, food was excellent. And oh the sauce! Thank you!

I must have missed the boat on this one. I recently tried Edley's Bar-B-Que and I am a huge fan! Their hot chicken sandwich is ! It also comes with some slaw and jalapeño ranch sauce that elevates the spicy and savory of the sandwich to the next level! Their pulled pork is also perfectly made. They have a spicy bbq sauce that is absolutely amazing. I love the level of heat in it and how it has the perfect balance of sweetness. 4/5 stars comes from the unimpressive sides that were very generic and skimpy in portion size. Also, I've ordered to-go twice. The first time, my sandwich came with the slaw and the jalapeño ranch. The second time, I ordered two sides with it and they left out the slaw and jalapeño ranch. Upon pick-up the second time, I requested some bbq sauce to-go and was told there should be some in my bag already, but they'd give me extra. I came home and thank goodness I asked for the bbq sauce, because they left those out as well. Overall, the entrees are amazing, the sides meh, and the service hit or miss. I would love to give their brisket a try, but have never been given the option to select it with online ordering.
