Passing by The Norwegian Parliament, visit this bar. It's a pleasant experience to order perfectly cooked creamy fish, creamy soup and chicken wings. The cooks here prepare good ice cream. Try delicious lager, wine or cordial. You will be offered great americano or good lemonade.

This is a unique place with multiple levels including amazing outdoor seating in one of the most scenic areas as well as quiet indoor dining. We tried the salmon soup, chevre salad which had grilled cheese and lingonberries in it, and grilled meat platter for 2 which has some of everything almost as was a true smogasboard experience for us to share. It was way more food than we could eat but we got to try some of the Norwegian classics and it was definitely worth a stop here for a lunch or dinner. We learned that this restaurant is a chain with locations in other areas of the country as well so it may be something to try there as well assuming consistency with the quality of your meal. Overall I can definitely recommend Egons. There was a large menu of food and drinks with much more to try here!
