After visiting Mezquita De Las Palmas, you can look over the menu at this restaurant. The Argentine cuisine is good at El Almacén. The great location of this place makes it easy to reach by any transport. Visit this spot to taste nicely cooked fillet steaks, laing and empanadas. Nothing can be better than ordering good apple pie, chocolate mousse and gâteau. Get your meal started with delicious malbec, cordial or absinthe. This place is known for great cortado.

I went here on Friday for dinner. The owner is super friendly. The welcoming was very warm and we had a nice conversation as I was one of the first guests that evening and so there was time. The food (Empanadas, Vacio and the "Almacén") was also great and so are the prices. Can absolutely recommend and should I return to Gran Canaria I will definitely return!
Friendly hosts, superb food & wine at a very reasonable price - visit if you can! Visited Saturday 7th March 2020 Came across the restaurant on an internet search of "restaurants near me" & the 4.7 rating and reviews with words like "little gem" drew us in. Walked to the restaurant at 8:45pm to find it was a tiny place with 6 tables (one for 4) & was full - loved the atmosphere straight away. The owner said he would ring us back in about 20 minutes when a table became free & sure enough he was true to his word. When it came time to order, we were shown a tray of Argentinian pastries to tempt us for starters - all of which looked & sounded great. I had the spicy meat empanada & it didn't disappoint - lovely soft pastry & tasty not too spicy filling. When I was deciding on the main course the host & chef both looked at me & said "Vacio" (which came with a chimichurri sauce) so I could hardly go against their recommendation! Again, it did not disappoint at all - the steak was melt in the mouth & the chimichurri made a delicious accompaniment. My partner had steak with a 3 peppercorn sauce which was equally delicious. This was all washed down with a lovely bottle of Argentinian Malbec as also recommended. We were enjoying ourselves so much that it seemed churlish to leave after our main course so we "forced down" some beautiful desserts & coffees. All the time the host/chef owners (2 brothers from Buenos Aires) were constantly chatting to the guests & enthusiastically making recommendations giving the place a great buzz. We shook hands & left with smiles on our faces & nothing but good things to say about the restaurant. We promised to write them a review - something which I have very rarely done in the past but places like this deserve to do well.. so here it is!
This is a must not miss eatery. One word of caution, it only has four tables and you need to get there well before opening time to get a seat, unless you are happy to stand and wait, but it is well worth the wait.
Food was wonderful, a real taste of Argentina, and the Vacio was excellent.
The two brothers who own and run El Almacen are excellent hosts.
To sum it up; great food, personal attentive service and amazing value for money.
