It's in our top 5 pincho bars in Zaragoza! The empanadas are delicious but the best are the vegetable tempuras! The garden bird is also essential. Without forgetting the wok! Our family visited El Angel del Pincho on a hot Sunday night in June and were early and lucky enough to have this small local gem to ourselves for a while. Duncan helped us understand the empanada and tempura menus and we managed to work our way through both, enjoying everything we tried and returning for seconds and thirds of our favorites. We have been in Spain for six days, and this was by far the best meal we have had, made better by Duncan's patience with our high school Spanish and his generosity educating us on the local food, wines and beers. Would give El Angel 10 stars if possible. I only wish we were here longer to enjoy the great food, company and atmosphere again!
