Sssshhhh. Don't tell anyone, but this place is great. For my taste, they lack a pure mushroom dish without "distractions". Parking: Better to use public transportation. We adore this cute little restaurant. We love wild mushrooms, but in this place they take them to another level, it is spectacular. In addition, we must add the kindness of the owners and the feeling of being in a cozy and intimate place with exquisite decoration. We always come back. Came here right before Christmas, and the whole experience was phenomenal. Every course was delightful and the wines they recommended were perfect as well. The use of the mushrooms were unbelievable in every course. Absolute must haves (if seasonally available as they forage for their own menu) are the Wood Ear, and the Shitake Gnocchi, but I imagine every dish is amazing so feel free to venture as far out of the comfort zone as you desire, you’re in good hands. Diego even gave us a list of several restaurants that he recommended around Madrid. Hospitality was on point. Absolutely will be back every time I’m in Madrid. 10/10 stars. Thank you to Diego and the rest of the El Brote team
