Had dinner here for the first time tonight after looking at the menu online. The online menu card does not match the local prices at all in terms of price. On average, the dishes are 6 to 7 euros more expensive per dish than stated online. So this was an unpleasant surprise. Furthermore, the food was delicious with reasonable portions. Service friendly, nothing to complain about. A nostalgic restaurant with authentic Greek cuisine and staff. You will be warmly welcomed and served attentively. There is a fireplace in the front room that creates a cozy atmosphere in the cold season. The quality of the food is excellent, the menu is very clear and written in Dutch and German due to the proximity to the Dutch border. We eat VERY regularly in Greek restaurants.. more than 600 times in the last 15 years and we were looking for a new one so tried El Greco. The service was very friendly and price not really too high, however I'm afraid the food itself left me unhappy. I'm used to somewhat more spice in Greek dishes but what I really didn't like was the giros. Firstly it was pork meat instead of lamb I'm often used to but even for pork it wasn't nice at all. They used a poor (cheap) quality meat and it wasn't 'roasted' as much as it should be. Just lots of smallish pieces of bland tasting pork, nothing like giros. The whole meal experience wasn't very nice at all.. a shame. Our first and definitely last time. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
