El Poblet is an amazing gastronomic experience. Chef Luis Valls shows up his creativity on each dish, a fully sensorial experience of beautiful looks, flavours, smells and textures that are refined and simple at the same time. The service is superb, they will make sure that you are comfortable and will go over every dish to explain its ingredients and purpose. The wine cellar is just astonishing too. All in all, its Michelin star is well deserved. Just make sure you call for reservations well in advance, space is limited. Ah, and don't miss the "cubalibre de foie"!
Fantastic food and fantastic service. I was worried that the food might be outrageously served but without content, but that was not the case. Beautifully served and heavenly tasting, it was also authentic to the Valencia region.
From all gourmet restaurants I tried, El Poblet was a little bit disappointing. We had a fish which they recommended, but we did not like it and mention this. Then the reaction was not so customer friendly and helpful. A Michelin star restaurant should have a better service and not be so cold. All other courses were delicious, but the overall price-experience-ratio was disappointing. Restaurant Karak is much better!
