What a wonderful experience! We enjoyed one of their “Hot Stone” steaks. It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. Great wine selections. Friendly service. Lots to choose from. Delicious deserts. This would be a high end and expensive restaurant in the states. We chose some of the more expensive items, including 2 steaks, a bottle of wine, 2 deserts, and espressos. Got out of there for under $75 euros. Highly recommended. If we are fortunate enough to come back to Barcelona, we will definitely be dining here again.
Very nice selection of local dishes and a pleasant dining atmosphere make El Racó del Cargol a highlight of the Colloblanc neighborhood. The eggplant chips, tempura battered thinly sliced eggplant with goat cheese and a hint of honey, was a spectacular starter while the sea bass fillet was a perfectly cooked main. My colleague raved about her black rice and mushroom "risotto" with prawns. Seared meats on sizzling platters wafted by our table while we sipped Catalonian wine and tasted our sorbettos. I'll return soon!
