This was a stunning little vegetarian cafe right below our AirBnB (for 3 adult women). We kept meaning to get into there for dinner but found ourselves out farther into the city by then. We finally made it in for a light brunch before we left on the last day and WOW were we mad at ourselves for not getting in there sooner and for dinner. But the little brunch was divine - the place is chic and cute, everything sustainable and responsible (local and largely organic), the service impeccable. We got a variety of toast plates with carrot "pate", and a chocolate based sauce, coffees, etc. For us non-vegan, we added an organic poached egg - it was filling, lovely priced, and decidedly delicious. It will be a specific stop next time we are in town.
For not being a vegetarian, I was impressed by the taste and variety of their dishes. We paid very little for our “menu del dia”; 3 dishes, including wine and bread. The food was based on sustainable principles. Very cozy place with very friendly staff and fast service. It’s a great overall experience plus example for an awesome restaurant. We are happy to come back!
In a sea of restaurants serving non-vegetarian food, is this island of amazing veg/an food. Very homely place with great food!!
