Unfortunately I have to rate the food at three stars. Service was 5 stars - friendly, chatty. I'm sure if I was there at noon or earlier it would have had a five star. I arrived about 2pm, Wednesday 23 Nov. I didn't know it at the time, but they close at 2pm. I suspect the pie warmers had been turned off and were cooling down. Thus the pies were lukewarm with the sauce/gravy being gluggy/gelatinous. But still edible, just. The filling portion was generous. I should have taken it back to the counter and asked if both pies could be microwaved for a short time to heat the filling. Being a little time poor at the time, I had to move on. I'll think twice if I'm near Elaine's Gourmet Pies around 2pm looking for lunch - maybe I'd give it a miss and grab a sandwich somewhere else.
