This dinner was very disappointing. Limited offer on the menu (not every pasta was available). Waiting time extremely long. Portions are very small for relatively high prices. Food is ok, but not great. For 2x2 EUR couvert we got 3 pcs od sesame grissini (for two persons) - very dry, rock-hard (old?). I would not come to eat here again - meals in other restaurants in the old town looked much better. The only good thing was the house wine - very good Nero d'Avola.

Sadly our waitress was not in the mood to work it seems. She was borderline rude and couldn’t even understand basic instructions in ITALIAN. I speak fluent Italian so it definitely was not a case of my not being able to make myself understood. The food selection is poor and the fact that no side dishes such as veg are available makes me give the two star rating.

We try to eat ‘off the beaten path’ while in touristy areas. A few blocks off the main square, Emily’s was a terrific spot for lunch. Very good soup, filling and hearty. The wine was also great.
