Nestled in the middle of a very festive side street of Piazza Navona we found the best home cooked real Italian food, flavorful, good service, prices like any small village outside Rome. Their specialty is their namesake Er Polpetta, meatball in Italian, and they have choices from pork, beef, chicken even Vegetarian options. We ate here already 5 times and it has become our home base for Spritz and Pizza too. I love that they don't feel touristy and it's always a lot of locals eating at Er Polpetta. Relaxed, not fancy, just delicious, quality home cooked meal vibe in the middle of the city. Their Salads are huge and really fresh and nice to share as a side with the Polpetta. Love !
