Hi Sarah,Just to clarify, the hot honey is on the pepperoni pizza, not the carbonara, and it’s clearly listed on the menu. It’s also a well-established combination and one of our best-sellers.If it’s not your thing, you’re always welcome to ask for it without. When we spoke on the phone, you mentioned ordering both a pepperoni and a carbonara slice. The pepperoni comes with hot honey, which would explain the sweet element you tasted, we don’t add anything sweet to the carbonara.If it wasn’t to your taste, you’re always welcome to ask for it without, or we’d have happily swapped it for you at the time)
