I have been very satisfied with all the other Paradores that I have visited so far, but I do not recommend this hotel at all. Contrary to the information on the website, the pool that the hotel advertises on the website and in its own folders was closed for the season at the time of booking, although swimming would have been possible given the mild temperatures. As soon as we arrived, reception asked us to choose a 45-minute breakfast slot. Nevertheless, the next day we waited in line for 10 minutes in front of the breakfast room. The luggage rack in the rooms was so deep that it was only enough for a trolley and was not placed on the wall, but between the bed and the bath box and was therefore unusable for us, who had normal suitcases with us. There was no real bathroom, just a box with semi-transparent glass walls placed in the room. The toilet was also housed in this semi-transparent box and could be seen from the room. The employee responsible for the reception team at the time of our arrival was extremely assertive and denied us our request for a refund for the second night we had booked, even though we had offered to pay for the first night. The staff in the breakfast room were sometimes very nice, but sometimes rude and bossy. For example, on the second day we were assigned bad seats even though there were good seats available and one employee replied to my request for a sugar-free yoghurt that there was none, which wasn't It was true, one of her colleagues brought me one a little later. The neighboring rooms could be seen from the balcony, which was actually a shared balcony and was only separated from those of the neighboring rooms by low partition walls. Rooms: Completely bad planning - semi-transparent bathroom/toilet box, completely unsuitable luggage rack, room visible from neighboring balconies - the architect responsible should actually be out of work.
