Estelle is a wonderful restaurant in the Saint Paul neighborhood that serves up delicious Southern European-inspired dishes. From the cozy atmosphere to the attentive staff, Estelle provides an unforgettable dining experience. The menu has something for everyone, with small plates like patatas bravas and shrimp al ajillo, as well as larger entrees like the jalapeño pesto radiatore and pork belly bocadillo. The drinks are also excellent, from classic cocktails to mocktails. The star of the show, however, is the Pasteis de Nata - a delicious Portuguese egg tart that is sure to please. All in all, Estelle is a great spot for a date night, a special occasion, or just a casual dinner with friends. Highly recommended!
One of my absolute favorite restaurants and how lucky it's so close! Love the ambience, drinks, wine, good, waitstaff. Love that it's open on Mondays too!
Our server was fantastic. She recommended the pastas... the rigatoni with the sausage and the green pesto one that also starts with the letter R. Save some room for dessert!! You'll also get churros before you end your meal. Honestly who doesn't love churros? They have a side bar which is a pretty quiet side and the main dining was nice to sit. They also have a patio!
Visited 4/15/23. Estelle does it again. This place is always so fun and we always have amazing service. Visited for my sister's birthday with a reservation made in advance. Street parking is available but can be slightly trickier to find on busy nights so give yourself a few minutes to park. On our reservation we had marked that it was my sister's birthday and we mentioned it once too and Estelle came through with an amazing birthday experience. They gave us complimentary cava to toast before our meal. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the different wine options and how they paired with different food. We got a bottle to split. We got the patatas bravas as a starter with each of us getting a dish (mom-radiatore with pesto, me-rigatoni with sausage, sister-campanelle with vodka sauce). The patatas bravas paired with the pasta was a tad filling so I would either split plates or get a different starter if ordering pasta later on. Each of us loved our pastas; the unsung hero of the night was the campanelle, which we had never tried. So delicious and I think we would all order that upon coming again. Ended the meal with the cute complimentary churros (they put a birthday candle in them too), and had an amazing experience.
