At The Eucalyptus, diners can experience exquisite kosher Middle Eastern cuisine in a charming setting overlooking the Old City walls of Jerusalem. The establishment offers indoor and outdoor seating, with the latter providing picturesque views of the Hutzot Hayotzer artists colony. The menu features a variety of traditional soups, salads, tapas-style spreads, and main courses such as the sweet-and-sour meat and eggplant casserole called "Ingria" and the chicken and rice casserole served with great ceremony known as "Malouba." Vegetarians will also find plenty of options available. The tasting menus are highly recommended, featuring the establishment's most famous and celebrated dishes along with daily specials created by staff using the finest seasonal ingredients available on the market. The prices are somewhat higher than average, but the quality of the food and service is well worth it. The establishment also offers an array of cocktails, soft drinks, wines, and local arak (licorice liquor). The staff is attentive and courteous, with Chef Moshe Basson often greeting diners and explaining the ingredients and preparation of his dishes. Reservations are imperative for this fine dining spot.

A must! For my wife and myself, our unplanned visit to The Eucalyptus restaurant was a revelation! Everything was perfect and even more! Why? We had 50 minutes to move on, and the staff made our stay an unforgettable one. The service was kind and efficient, besides the two plates that we ordered, ceviche and mini kebabs , (we were short in time..) we were granted with their amazing bread , liver pate dish and extra chocolate praline tasting before the dessert. Great culinary experience, great location and grest professional team! Thank you! Very much recommended ! We are certainly coming back !
