A local attraction - Peacekeeping Monument, which is situated beside this restaurant, is a part of the authentic culture of this city. That's a good idea to order tasty halloumi, roasted duck and lamb's fry. Most guests recommend trying good ice cream, baklava and meringues. Delicious house wine, beer or white wine will make your meal even more delicious and you'll certainly come back. A collection of great ice tea, latte or lebanese coffee is recommended to guests.
The warm atmosphere of Fairouz Cafe makes visitors feel relaxed and have a nice time. The staff is well-trained that's what makes this place so good. Unfortunately, this nice restaurant is going to be closing in April and opening up as a Steakhouse. I understand for one of the owners that they will reopen in 12 months or so. I have followed this restaurant since it's opening on Elgin Street. Many many many years ago. Always good food. Always good atmosphere and they treat you very well. It was our anniversary and my wife's birthday and we really enjoyed it. Thanks. Great service and atmosphere. The food is very good but portions are small. We were 6 people and ordered platters to share and meat portions were extremely small, about 1-2 bites per person. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went to Fairouz Cafe for our anniversary dinner, and it was a great experience. We ordered the beef skewer, and it was cooked to perfection. I was expecting smaller portions due to the fine dining environment, but the food was well-portioned and very filling. The lady serving us was energetic and efficient. I forgot her name, but her service was excellent! I loved that they explained exactly how each dish was made. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hummus Baba Ghanouj, Shish Tawook Dietary restrictions: Halal was available.
