Their chips are still the best. However, I ordered on Just Eat & had a terrible experience, particularly with customer service. The wrong food arrived so I called Farrows directly & was told they’d realised the mistake & my correct order would be delivered in 15-20 mins. 30mins later I called again & was told I should’ve ordered through Just Eat & that they couldn’t deliver. I asked them why they hadn’t told me that when I called before. The guy said “well I’m telling you now”. I asked to speak to someone else & complained about the other guy. I was told again that they weren’t able to deliver unless I went through the app & when I protested that it was now almost 2hrs since I ordered, I was told that my (and my child’s) missing food wasn’t a priority for her right now. Farrow's is one of those places in Bristol where if you know you just know. It's a corner stone of Bristol let alone Fish and Chips. I grew up by the seaside and the quality and variety of options and accessibility for intolerances like gluten is incredible. If you live in Bristol or are visiting and you don't take a single visit to Farrow's, can you say you're really experiencing Bristol? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I used to order from here and struggle to finish the portions. I do not know what has changed but portions became smaller, a bit annoying. Old good days, we used to give some of the potatoes/fish to the dog, now I need to attack others meals to feel full. Prices are not that low too. Happened twice, so I don’t think we will order again for a while, sorry guys…. Service: Takeaway Price per person: £10–20
