This spot obviously knows how to please their customers. Constantly with a welcoming approach. The food is reasonably priced, always flavorful and clean.
My girl ordered the Avocado Toast -_-My friend ordered the Soy Chorizo & Egg SandwichAnd I had the Regular French Toast + side of 2 eggsMy girl enjoyed her meal except that there was one egg to split between two pieces of toast.. it looked pretty good from where I sat. Had cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, boiled egg and the avocado on top of the toast. My friend also enjoyed his meal.. he is trying this whole pescatarian, vegetarian thing and just left his clean as clean as a whistle!!!!As for my french toast.. the reviews here made my experience underwhelming.. If I were to go back for a breakfast.... actually I probably wouldn't.. the only item off the breakfast menu that was remotely pleasing to me would be the french toast, but it just wasn't done right for me.. it was missing some flavor.. butter, cinnamon, sugar it was all missing..
I rolled in to Fat Belly grill hungry and wanting a cold beer. I ordered the Kaarage, Japanese style friend chicken but with out the bones, and a Sapporo. The karaage was delicious and I gulped it down with spicy mayo and beer yum. I also orders their beef friend rice which has Korean bul Gogi in it which flavored it up. Really pleasing. I've also been lucky to sample their hopefully soon on the menu tacos. And those, damn...so so so good. Taco Tuesdays at fat belly I really hope circa January. I'm going back. Cheers!
