Let me start by saying, we love local businesses and do what we can to support them. This is a multi generational family run business that has been around the area for over 100 years (as per their website). In saying that, obviously, went directly to their website when we decided to try the place out with some friends. While looking at the menu online was pretty sure what I was going to have while glancing at the prices. When we arrived, we weren't greeted after several minutes which didn't really matter because we saw our friends on the patio. So we proceeded through the restaurant and were stopped by a snotty little thing who said we had to sanitize to come into the restaurant~ "it's the law"~ she says. Of course we had ALREADY used their very own sanitizer when we walked in, but because she didn't greet us AND SEE it herself she made us walk back through the restaurant like we were naughty little children to sanitize, yet again. P.S. I am old enough to be her mother! So, after getting over that humiliation, we ordered drinks and they were (of course, RME) out of their peach ale, ok understood, it would be popular. After just peeking at the menu (because I already knew what I was having) the prices caught my eye. The pricing on the website was different than the in- restaurant menu pricing. Ok, I understand, you need to make up for lost revenue, but at least update your website because now I am paying more for the exact same item all within the span of an hour. Appies were good. The bacon bites were excellent (the order of bacon, however sparse was ~ 4 pc~), as were the sausage bites. One wouldn't guess that spicy sausage, marinara, balsamic and parm go well together, but they do. This was the highlight of our entire experience. For an entree I got the half order of fish 'n chips (hint, hint, check for your pricing discrepancy) and I got 3 fish nuggets... each, less than the size of a McDonald's chicken nugget. Ok, understood I ordered a half order. I thought the fries came with gravy (too heavily truffled), but when the bill came I ended up paying dearly for something I didn't like, nor ate. Again, pricing people! No where on your menu is there a price for any sauces and our Server didn't mention it. Luckily, I didn't have to pay for the bland tartar sauce provided, nor the ketchup and malt vinegar I had requested (insert, rolling my eyes). Hubs had the burger which was grey in colour and dry and a poutine that resembled soup with the aforementioned (too) heavily truffled gravy which he didn't eat much of (and again, we were significantly up- charged for). Another had the Philly Cheesesteak where there were barely any veg on and what cheese was on the sandwich was grainy and broken. And last, but not least, was the BLT chicken burger which, well, how could you possibly screw that one up? To come full circle, we sat in the fiery inferno of hell, sorry, I mean, outdoor patio... because we couldn't bear to sit inside it smelled so bad. We have been to a lot of breweries and have never, ever, smelled anything quite like that. So, after lots of understanding on our part and $90.00 later, one star for the appies and one star for the outstanding caesar's (ironic, right?)

Hi! We apologize that your visit didn't meet our standards. Unfortunately, we're relatively new and constantly adjusting to these difficult times. We do our best to ensure that our menus remain updated, and we did not intend to cause confusion with pricing.
Due to the pandemic, we are following strict guidelines to ensure that our space is safe, and ensuring that everyone is sanitized is our primary goal. We find our staff are doing a great job of ensuring that everybody's visit is safe and enjoyable.
Overall, we apologize that we missed the mark on your visit and we're glad you gave us a shot anyways!
Wishing you all the best!
