This is the best spot near Agamont Park. You will be offered such food as nicely cooked belly pork, lobster poutine and crab cakes, don't hesitate to try them. Try good blueberry pie, waffles and fruitcake. Most likely, you'll return to this bar later to order delicious craft beer, ale or wine. This place is known for great lemonade or good tea.

You can enjoy live music in the evening. The atmosphere of hospitality of Finback Alehouse highly depends on the staff, that is cute here. Service at this place is something one can name terrific. From the guests' point of view, prices are reasonable. There is a calm atmosphere and nice decor at this spot. Google users awarded this bar 4.2.

Great service and great drinks, glad we stopped in for happy hour. I LOVED our server’s cocktail recommendation when I told her I liked sweet - the Blueberry Island Pirate. Blueberry Margarita was good too. Lobster bisque was more of a spicy tomato soup, “not much lobster flavor or chunks in it” but my dining partner still very much enjoyed the soup. I had the fish taco and it was good, but I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for it (happy hour was only $5) even if it came with more than one taco. Server and host were so pleasant! We will likely return.

Ordered some rosemary fries, mussels, and a pretzel along with a few cocktails. Everything had high quality ingredients and was delicious. Great selection of craft beer to try, cocktails were interesting, well balanced and well made. Hats off to the bartender! Great place to stop for a drink, don't overlook the food, it is quite good!

Finback Alehouse was a good spot to grab a quick dinner one evening.  We wanted to go the night before (a Tuesday), but it was randomly closed.  I found that many restaurants in Bar Harbor were closed on random nights when according to Yelp, or other sources, they should have been opened. We were excited to try Finback Alehouse because their Kid's Menu online looked perfect for my kids.  Only problem - they no longer have the Kid's Menu that is posted online.  After reading some Yelp reviews I see the restaurant has changed management and things have changed, which is totally fine, I guess we were just finding old information online. We put our names in and had only about a 20 minute wait.  Not bad.  And they text you when your table is ready so you can walk around Bar Harbor and make your way back.  The inside is lovely and very bright.  Our waiter was nice and attentive.  We ate and left pretty quickly because the kids were having a "night."  We got the Mac and Cheese and fries for them, which they were pretty uninterested in.  I got their Lobster roll which was quite delicious.  I liked the tarragon-lemon mayo they add to it.  It's very tasty!  My husband found it a little difficult to pick something that he would want, but he chose the Bison Burger.  He enjoyed it. I also ordered a Blueberry Margarita which was delicious and refreshing and had just the right kick.  Next time I'm in Bar Harbor I think I'll skip Finback Alehouse if I have the kids with me... but I'd go back for a date night or drinks!
