I remember when they were first building this place. For the longest, the craving of creating a pizza I used to go to Pie Five Pizza but this place brought an authentic Italian version of it. Even offered the cool stamped card where if you buy 10 additional pizzas then the next one is free. And the gelato at the time was amazing. I always anticipated the lemon cookie flavor. The entire establishment went downhill after the new management and owners took over. They got rid of the delicious ice-cold creamy gelato and something about the pizzas was just not the same. It wasn't a surprise to me when I drove by one day and saw that the "Firo" sign was gone. Hopefully, this upcoming eatery will show promise. Until then.
