It’s a nice quaint little spot. Had the eggs Benedict and it was so good! We dined in and they served us so well! The prices were a little high and the portions weren’t huge.

Food was good. Everyone liked there meal. As a large group they accepted a reservation and a table to fit all together was ready when we arrived. Service was great. Very reasonable prices considering the current inflation hammering us all.

Saw First Street Family Restaurant a while ago while eating across the street. The outside appearance looks homey and comforting, so a perfect place for a lunch date with my blushing bride. And it lived up to its promise! The restaurant is exactly what one would expect from an older diner-type place, except it's huge. Reminiscent of Norm's but with a non-chain attitude. The menu is extensive and a great mix of American and some Mexican favorites. The blushing bride had a vegetarian omelette. It was fresh tasting and bursting with flavor. Hash browns were unremarkable but better than some we've had.  I had a meatloaf sandwich. I was a very happy kid!  The meatloaf was tasty, the mashed potatoes were good. The gravy was unremarkable but pulled the meal together. Oddly, we both had a similar experience where the least part of the meal was exceptional... the bread. The white bread under the meatloaf and gravy actually tasted great, and the sourdough toast did too. Service was efficient and attentive. All booths are equipped with COVID shields and the staff wear masks. The cook might want to consider pulling his up above his nose, though. I know it's uncomfortable but your kitchen is open and we all see you. Not a complaint but a polite suggestion. :)
