Pro: food was excellent, the waiter and waitress who served us were attentive and friendly. Con: one particular man was rude, especially when he talks to Chinese customers. Serving your Chinese customer are like a grim to him. I don’t understand, 70% of customer who sitting in the restaurant are Chinese customer, who brought so much business, and you were showing that kind of attitude? You must understand the only reason that so many Chinese customers are coming here is because your food and service, neither of them is dispensable. They may not speak good English but that’s not the reason for you being like that. Look at your other employees, the ones I have dealt with were so respectful, you are not a very good example on this one mate. Some more comments:I booked the reservation through first table which is a website gives you 50% discount. That man knew that for a fact. When I was trying to pay for the bill. The figure was not discounted, for god sake, are you trying to charge me full price? Then I pointed out that figure was not discounted, then the man was showing that grim face again. I understand that there is a communication barrier. Please note, Not every Chinese can speak English just like Not every kiwi can speak Maori. If the owner of this restaurant wants to have a prosperous business. Hospitality is significant.
We arrived early for our booking, but the manager was super lovely and managed to squeeze us in. Food came out very quickly and the staff were friendly.
Not really sure what all the hype is about to be honest. My partner and I went here for lunch as there is always a super long wait for dinner. We ordered the share platter for two and 2 cokes and it was $65.The calamari was very floury, undercooked and flavourless. The chicken nibbles just tasted like char, the ribs were ok, not as moist as I would have expected and the glaze was very mild in the flavor overall the chips were the best bit.... The service was good.
