Absolutely delicious. Best fish i have had in a very long time. Batter is sensational. Chips are delicious but portion size for a large is a little bit small so make sure you buy extra if there are more than 2 eating. Extremely reasonable in price. Thought we'd try the new owners out. Food seemed ok, nothing special though, unlike the Flinders of old. Portion size is a bit stingy. Child's size meal almost. The biggest issue was the severe stomach cramps we developed about an hour after eating. We had fish and chips, I'm assuming it was the fish that did it. Would not recommend. Needless to say, we will not be going back. First impressions are everything. Such a shame. People used to be literally queuing down the street for this place. Tried Flinders for the first time since the new owners took over, all I can say is 10/10. Fish and Chip's, battered sausage and curry sauce. Fish was huge, fresh, lovely crunchy batter, sausage the same, chips were perfect and the curry sauce had a nice subtle spice to it. My go to chippy from now on.
