Sorry, the pic isn't the best. I wasn't planning on posting until after we ate. That was seriously the best chicken burger I've had. Thick and juicy, with great crunch. It's across the street from the main action, so it's better prices, but still super close. Jerry took great care of us! Howdy folks. How's everyone on planet Yelp doing? Your's truly Nasty Nathanial here. Well, it's time for another one of my groovy reviews. I hope everybody reading this has got food on their mind because I'm about to take you all to a place that has some of the best food east of the Hoover Dam. So strap on your seat belts because this ship is about ready to blast off. One of the things that I really enjoy about travelling is getting to try out new grind spots. Well, there is a place in Sin City that I discovered that'll blow your taste buds off. It's called Flippin' Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer. The name of this place couldn't be more fitting as the food here is indeed "flippin' good." I had to be careful how I said that because this F word could very easily come out as the other F word. Located in the classic Freemont East section of the city, Flippin' Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer is a hidden gem. What I mean by that is there is no big bright fancy neon sign with a cowboy waiving at you to come inside. This is a hole in the wall joint that you could easily miss if you weren't paying attention. But it sure did catch my attention as I was craving me a margarita on the night that I first walked in here with my good friend, and fellow activist, Pugface Media. We had just driven out to Las Vegas from the San Bernardino area and a good margarita was just what we both needed. Now for those of you who read my reviews will probably know that I'm a big margarita guy. Nothing soothes my inner workings more than a good margarita on the rocks and here at Flippin' Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer they serve up a pretty tasty marg. And let me tell you something. In a city like Las Vegas it's pretty easy to get served a crappy margarita. So many bartenders don't know how to do it right and you don't want to end up paying $14 for some watered down margarita that's served in a tiny plastic cup like you'll get at Vince Neil's Tatuado Bar inside Circus Circus. But that's not the case here at Flippin' Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer. Here you'll get served a tasty margarita with enough tequila to get you a good buzz for half the price of Vince's marg. Ok so fast forward about a year a half to the Nasty Pug Star Tour. Your's truly Nasty Nathanial and Pugface Media are back in Sin City. Only this time we are joined by our good friends, and fellow activists, Tom Zebra, Jodie Kat Media, Laura Shark, and M* Star Media. Not wanting to wait in line for two days in order to get served some overpriced frozen margarita served in a plastic tube on The Freemont Street Experience, I suggested that we head on over to Freemont East and go to....YOU GOT IT! Despite the fact that the place was extremely busy on that bustling Saturday night, the staff went out of their way to get us a table that would accommodate us all in a timely manor. And timely they did for within' minutes the six of us were seated and sippin' tasty margaritas that were served to us by our lovely waitress whose name I didn't get. But she was a stocky African-American woman with a personality made of gold and a smile that could light up the entire Las Vegas Strip. I mean that. This gal was a total jewel. So being that I've covered the margaritas and the service, let's dive into the food. I decided to go with a chicken sandwich. But this wasn't just any ol' chicken sandwich. This was a special bird all of it's own. It was a Dirty Bird. But don't let the name fool you. The sandwich itself wasn't dirty. It was Delicious with a capital D. Seriously I have never tasted anything quite like it before in my life. It had a tangy amount of seasoning and a generous, but not overbearing, amount of sauce that gave it a fiery kick. It was hot, but not so much so that it took away the flavor. Eating this chicken sandwich was better than s**. That's one of the things I digged about The Dirty Bird. All in all I can say that by the time we were all finished and ready to go, I walked away feeling pretty satisfied. I filled up my belly with some delicious food and a tasty margarita(s). Best part is that it didn't cost an arm and a leg to do so. Oh and let me not forget the service we received from that beautiful waitress with the award winning smile. Damn I wish I could remember her name. Either way, I know I'll be visiting Flippin' Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer the next time I'm in Las Vegas, which will actually be quite soon. So if you want to grind on some delicious food, drink some margaritas fixed with enough tequila to get you buzzed, and do so at a price that want bust up the wallet, I suggest that you head on over to Flippin' Good Chicken, Burgers, Beer on Freemont East. If not, there's always Vince Neil's Tatuado Bar. Oh wait. It closed. Well, that place won't be missed. Until next time, may the Yelp reviews be groovy. Happy trails. NASTY NATHANIAL
