Since Zomato doesn't give half-stars any longer, I would give this place a 3.5 star rating, but I can't give it a 4.  We figured that Forager Brewery was probably more beer-centric than food-centric after our visit. While they do have some interesting food items on the menu, there just wasn't a lot of them. We thought the margherita pizza with some added sausage and pickled jalapeños was fine, but it wasn't great. But the beers we had - the Regal Hops double IPA for me and the Tight Lips IPA that was made with gummy bears, passion fruit and a touch of pine sap for my wife - were both very good. And you couldn't beat the ambiance or the decor in the place. It was a very laid back atmosphere at Forager Brewery and we were certainly happy that we stopped by.
Ok food and ok beer but we drove a long way to get some of the beer to go and one minute after 10pm after driving 6 hours and spending almost $200 in the restaurant and tap room to get it they absolutely refused to sell me one crowler to go. Absolutely ridiculous. Nobody ever said anything about not being to get to go beer after 10. Not a single mention by the waiter or anybody. Totally ridiculous and bad service. I would be careful if I was you. Maybe don’t make the trip.
Food is delicious! Every time we stop in the food does not disappoint . Good selection of specialty drinks and wine. Beer selection was unique, but I found one I really liked. The bartender was friendly with excellent customer service. Will definitely stop by anytime we pass through town.
