It's worth coming to this restaurant because of tasty ribeye, crab meat and triple cooked chips. You can share nicely cooked pecan pie, brownie batter and banana pancakes with your friends and spend a nice time here. It's nice to order good Strawberry colada. Some clients recommend great fruit juice, tomato juice or fresh juices at Frank's Smokehouse.

The staff is said to be appealing here. The Facebook rating displays that this place earned 4.6 stars.

Best breakfast in Baton Rouge, hands down! Has a great old school feel when you walk in and sit down, and their breakfast sausage selection is excellent. I'm someone who likes meat with my breakfast, whether it's steak, pork chops, or sausage, and theirs are the best I've ever had. The alligator sausage is especially good. Their standard breakfast foods are all delicious too (eggs, toast, etc) and the service is great. Can't recommend them enough
Franks's is a super popular old school breakfast joint in Red Stick. I always end up here with a bunch of work dudes every time we're working super early. Work dudes are not known for their ability to pick good food, but team building is team building. When I think of an old school breakfast place I think of friendly servers who call you sweetheart. Servers who treat you like a regular even when you're not. Frank's has that. One thing Frank's has that is not like old school joints is a pretty extensive menu. There are all sorts of breakfast things you can get, but I'm a simple dude. I get the western and a side of bacon. This is my go-to order most places and that's what I get here. Their version is not what I would call amazing, but it's good. On my most recent trip we had a table of at least eight people. All of our food came out around the same time and our coffee cups were kept full. That's a pretty tall order especially when the place is packed. Next time I'm in Red Stick super early I am sure I'll be here again. If you're in the area and looking for a solid breakfast place, I encourage you to give Frank's a try.
A Baton Rouge staple, the original Frank's Restaurant is a must-try for a true Baton Rouge Breakfast. THere's a reason you will find them in the "Best Of" on several BR lists. This particular trip took us to Frank's on Fathers Day (my first trip here in years). Treating Dad to breakfast, we were able to find things to appease my vegetarian niece and my healthier meal-seeking father. After a reasonable wait, especially on a popular breakfast morning, we were seated in a comfortable corner our of the way... Our server was quick to bring water and coffee to the table, and she checked in and offered excellent suggestions. Our meal was quickly delivered, and oh my, was it delicious! The biscuits were fluffy and filling, my omelette was dense, yet not overfilling, and my party all enjoyed their perfectly cooked eggs and grits. It was a little taste of a country meal with the perfect service with a smile and a feeling of friendship. I will NOT take so long to come back before next time!!
